Kim is kept super busy looking after and ensuring we recruit the very best talent into our VA team. Taking candidates through our rigorous recruitment process – from initial application, to video assessments and interviews.

Alongside this, Kim then onboards all new VAs ensuring that background checks are carried out and VAs have all of the information they need to come onboard as new team members. This includes writing their VA profile, ready for being matched to their first client.

Kim’s job is varied and she loves being able to meet so many wonderful people to learn all about them and their motivation to come on board. No two days are ever the same and Kim enjoys being able to support candidates in a friendly but professional way through the recruitment process.

Kim’s passion for recruitment started back in 2010 whilst working for one of the top 50 IT recruitment agencies in the country. Working collaboratively with clients ranging from small businesses to large multinational corporations, Kim very quickly knew she’d found a career that she loved. Here Kim’s career grew from strength to strength and she was instrumental in launching the permanent recruitment department within the business.

After becoming a Mum, Kim decided it was the right time to start her own recruitment business, so she could continue to assist others in sourcing the right talent for their businesses, whilst maintaining the right work-life balance for her family.

With the pandemic bringing a temporary lull in demand for traditional recruitment services, Kim expanded her business services to include a variety of business support drawing on her vast skill set and administrative career background.

The perfect blend of being an experienced recruiter and a VA makes Kim the perfect addition to the team at Virtalent. With a natural flair for recruitment and sourcing the best talent, together with her own experience as a VA and business owner to draw upon, Kim loves nothing more than handpicking top-notch Virtual Assistants to join the Virtalent team, before going on to support our valued clients.

The thing Kim loves most about being a Recruitment Manager at Virtalent is the variety of work with everything from shortlisting to communicating, interviewing and onboarding. As a natural ‘people person’, Kim finds it incredibly rewarding to delve into the relevant career experiences, skills and interests of our candid.

When she’s not recruiting, Kim loves spending time with her husband, children and gorgeous Cockapoo, Roxy, as well as enjoying the local countryside. With her love of new cultures and languages, Kim enjoys nothing more than planning ideas for new places to travel with her family, including opportunities to practise her French language skills!
